The video-fresco The Gap in the Floor consists of dozens of short videos showing armed conflicts in the world, which the artist found in the news and combined by a negative form into one luminous line on the border of abstraction. Showing real events and war machines at a micro scale infantilizes the horror of the original images and becomes a reflection on the reception of the current drama of war and killing. The size of the Apache helicopters resembling harmless toys floating above the floor changes abruptly once in a while, confronting the surprised viewer with the machine in a 1: 1 scale.
